Note	Lorents blev udnævnt til Kaptajn i Hæren fra 1808 (efter Englandskrigene, hvor han var med) Han overtog Anneberggård i 1810. Han havde allerede investeret i Anneberggård siden 1801. Han havde lært en del om landvæsen af sin Svigerfader –> Landøkonom Frants Wilhelm Trojel. Han havde nemlig købt Annebergård allerede i 1800. Han havde været ansat der siden 1781 som landøkonom. Anneberg hovedgård kan besøges i dag (2010) i Nordsjælland.
